Within the Norwegian Fund was launched a program aimed at detecting and investigating corruption.

On June 26, 2014 was realized opening conference of program CZ10 “Support for the detection and investigation of corruptionfunded by the Norwegian funds. Within the program will be realized a predefined project in cooperation with the Council of Europe, whose main objective will be to strengthen the institutional capacity in the combating against corruption and money laundering. The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Police, the Office of the Government , the Ministry of Interior, Royal Norwegian Embassy Prague, the Council of Europe, as well as representatives of NGOs.

Solver of the predefined project is FAU MoF.

The main objective of the project is to contribute to the GRECO recommendations by identifying and understanding the risks and threats arising from corruption, work out suggestions how to improve criminal laws in fields of combating against corruption and money laundering, procuring transparent financing of political parties and strengthen the protection of whistleblowers. Processing of analysis, organizing workshops and conferences, preparation of legislative changes and awareness also belong among the activities of this program. The Council of Europe will actively  participate on these activities as a project partner and nonprofit organizations will be involve in selected activities.

An integral part of the project is strengthening of the technological capacity of the Financial Analytical Unit of the Ministry of Finance and the Unit for Comabating Corruption and Financal Crime SCPI of the Police. Those are the bodies involved in investigation of corruption and related financial crimes.
